The ISA UAE Automation Conference and Exhibition 2016 is a full-scale conference and tradeshow in the Gulf Region dedicated for process automation. The event will focus on measurement, control and safety system latest technologies and its applications through a two day Technical Conference and Product Exhibition. SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT (TECHNICAL)

Responsible to lead the development of GASCO’s Technical Group strategies and provide high quality technical support services for all GASCO operations and projects while directing the development and updates of world-standard Integrity Assurance systems and ensuring safe execution of technical projects in line with the highest HSE standards, policies and procedures. Furthermore, have a great role in the energy efficiency and emission reduction efforts of the company.

ABU DHABI OIL REFINING COMPANY (TAKREER) Abu Dhabi, UAE Aug. 1999 – April 2013

Joined TAKREER as Maintenance Department Manager and later was promoted as Technical Support Department Manager and then as Operations Manager and thereafter to the position of Vice President – Refinery.
VICE PRESIDENT – REFINERY

Key Results:

  • Managed a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible operation of all refinery process units and production in accordance with the company and government regulations.
     Played a major role to provide leadership and direction to all plant personnel including department, unit and shift managers.
  •  Well-versed in all plant aspects.
  • Worked with the Board of Managers in development of business plans, budgets and other key strategies.
     Developed expense and capital budgets, gain approval, analyze monthly variances and lost opportunities and operate plant within budget parameters.
  • Created and maintained a culture of continuous improvement.
